Sillymonks forays into Kannada market; signs Hombale Films for Digital Promotions of KGF Movie

Hyderabad: Sillymonks Entertainment has marked its entry into Kannada movie industry by successfully partnering with Hombale Films, the makers of magnum opus -Action-period drama ‘KGF; that had been released in multiple languages across India and World.

Set in the backdrop of 70s era of Kolar Gold Fields, KGF is considered to be the most expensive film in the history of Sandalwood with a multilingual release.

Sillymonks has executed the digital promotions of KGF Movie, its first Kannada project, with its meticulous efforts and managed to create maximum buzz in Digital and Social Media Space, triggering huge volume of engagement and conversations on the landmark movie.

The Tailer of KGF crossed 10 million views in Kannada market and 7 million views in Telugu market within a matter of one week and still growing steadily. In addition, Sillymonks has driven the subscription of Hombale Films from 40 thousand subscribers to 1,80,000 subscribers by designing multifaceted integrated campaigns across various platforms targeting the moviegoers.

Speaking on the Partnership, Anil Pallala – Founder and CEO of Sillymonks said, “Our partnership with Hombale Films for the digital promotions of KGF movie has yielded extremely positive results. The Producers of the movies associated with us because of the vast reach enjoyed by Sillymonks across South India. We are super excited with the kind of buzz we managed to generate towards the launch of the movie.” 

Our strategy for Hombale films is the best example of how Movie Producers can accumulate huge Subscriber base in one film and potentially make use of them for their future film releases rather than discarding them after a particular movie. Sillymonks can play a vital role in helping them towards monetization from the digital avenues and expand their reach among target audience” added Anil.

It was written and directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur. Sillymonks is the first Digital Media entity in India to go public with consistent growth in digital content and marketing space.
