GotChosen, an American tech startup that enables websites to monetise their social media content, launched a platform for influencers and content creators in India in August 2022. It has tied up with over 100 influencer agencies in its base since the launch.
Via GotChosen’s programmatic models, 60 pc of the ad revenue goes to the creator, said Oz Silva, Founder & CEO, GotChosen, in conversation with Medianews4u.com.
“Content creators and influencers in India are used to making money with partnerships or platforms wherein they get a fixed rate when they create content for a platform. Either this or a few of them collaborate with brands. Through our sustainable ads program, we share our ad revenue and offer 60pc of the ad revenue to the creator. Right now, we have operations in India and six full-time employees but soon we are also going to have our physical presence in the country as well. We will soon be opening our office in the next 60 to 90 days and Naveen Meena is going to head our team there,” explained the founder.
The platform is also looking to launch a new audience marketplace, in which brands and agencies will be able to reach the audience of the influencers on all their other social media platforms.
“We are building on our backend right now an AI which is creating the interface for this marketplace. As of now, we have over 20,000 influencers participating in this. Another product that we are soon going to launch is the Collab Marketplace. With this new product, brands will be able to find creators on GotChosen platform and launch sponsored campaigns,” says Silva.
GotChosen is present currently in the US, India, Brazil and Canada markets. It is also planning to launch the audience marketplace model in North America and Europe in the coming year.
The company has a Mass Payment System in place to facilitate easier payment to its creators, supported in over 50 countries.
“Every monetisation that they make in the month, we generate an invoice in the beginning of the next month and then we make the mass payment,” informs Silva.
The platform’s revenue model is called GotChosen Ads Program, through which ads are sold in real- time. As mentioned, 60pc of the revenue generated goes to the creators. This model guarantees monetisation for every creator who participates in the program, claimed Silva.
