SonyLIV brings its content to Airtel Xstream Premium

SonyLIV, India’s leading digital streaming platform, has partnered with Airtel, bringing its content library of the latest Original Shows, Movies, Sports, Hollywood Shows and Sony India Network content across different languages for the newly launched Airtel Xstream Premium platform.

With the partnership, Airtel’s 340 million plus customers will get access to SonyLIV’s content library through the Airtel Xstream Premium app. Users will enjoy SonyLIV’s entire catalogue of the platform’s movies and shows and users buying specific plans will also be able to stream SonyLIV as a value add.

Airtel’s mobile users have the highest monthly data usage and ARPU in India, while SonyLIV has been at the forefront of offering premium content across genres and languages. This collaboration will help both achieve a wider base. Through this partnership, SonyLIV will get incremental customers and a wider distribution reach, leveraging upon Airtel’s base across India. Airtel will be able to offer its customers a greater amount of entertainment, spanning from SonyLIV’s offerings across different Indian languages. The synergy reflects their brand ethos of expanding the market potentialities and up the ante in brand integrations. In its efforts to capture newer and wider audience segments, SonyLIV intends to strengthen the engagement quotient with Airtel through this collaboration.

With more than 40,000 hours of content on the go, SonyLIV is home to the most compelling stories coupled with an enhanced viewing experience. In addition to regular shows from Sony Pictures Networks India, SonyLIV has the highest repository of originals and movies across various languages including Tabbar, Avrodh, SCAM 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story, Dithee, Maanaadu, Bhootkalam, WWW, Thaen, Kaanekkaane, amongst others. Airtel Xstream users will also get access to the most revered and award-winning Hollywood titles like The Good Doctor, Woke, Chapelwaite, Alex Rider, For Life and LA’s Finest, amongst others. Apart from this, the platform also streams the biggest sporting events of cricket, football, tennis, basketball, eSports and racing amongst others.
