Launches a new customized health check platform ‘SRL Care’ to tackle the increasing incidences of lifestyle disease in the country

Unveils a new loyalty program “Club SRL” by giving Shilpa Shetty Kundra a lifetime membership

Mumbai : SRL Diagnostics, diagnostics chain, rolled out a new preventive customised health-check platform under the brand name ‘SRL Care’. The new platform was announced in the presence of wellness Guru and celebrated personality Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Arindam Haldar, CEO, SRL Diagnostics. Shilpa Shetty Kundra will be the brand ambassador for SRL Diagnostics.The new Brand Ambassador was given a Lifetime Membership of ‘Club SRL’at the event.

According to WHO, delays in diagnosis contribute to the 60% of the glaring mortality rate of cancer, heart diseases and asthma cases in India. This makes it crucial to shift nation’s healthcare focusfrom the existing curative-oriented mindset to a preventive one. Company will have a new range of comprehensive, customized full body check-up packages, under SRL Care. The packages are a part of the company’s initiatives to change the lives of people by showcasing the benefits of a preventive healthcare mindset.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Arindam Haldar, CEO, SRL Diagnostics said, “For over 23 years, SRL’s purpose has remained focused on helping people on their path to better health in extraordinary ways.  This commitment means that we strive to bring up-to-date advances in technology along with highly trained staff and customer-centric services. However, as leaders and decision makers we need to understand that the absence of a disease is always going to be of higher value to the society than achieving excellence in treating it. Therefore, for some time now, SRL has been working towards shifting the mindset of people from illness based diagnostics to wellness based preventive healthcare approach.”

Based on a recommendation tool developed by SRL’s R&D team, the newly launched platform will recommend a customised health-check plan to an individual consumer keeping in mind their age, gender, lifestyle, health history and life-stage. The consumer simply need to take an assessment on SRL’s mobile app or website, or they can just walk into any lab to get a customised preventive package that will be designed to suit the particular needs of the individual consumer. With every test package, SRL Care consumers get a free health risk assessment report that outlines the risk factors that they are specifically likely to develop. The report will be given as an add-on benefit along with the regular diagnostics report. SRL continues to invest in innovation and technology to make a difference in the lives of people.

“Today people just think of diet, supplements and weight loss when they think of health. More often than not, we miss out the point that to know if we are on track with our fitness goals, we need to monitor our health parameters, as your outside appearance and external measurement tools (like weighing machine and measuring tape) may not be sufficient to tell how you’re progressing from inside.  Just like how we like to monitor our children’s progress in school by reviewing their report card, SRL Health report is your health’s report card that tells you how well you are doing from the inside”, adds Mr Haldar

“I’ve always believed in preventive healthcare and I go for regular health check-ups as often as necessary. SRL Diagnostics has been my preferred diagnostics centre for years now. I had to be a part of this new initiative of theirs, SRL Care. SRL Care attempts to change the mindset of people from curative to preventive and reduce the prevalence of lifestyle diseases, thereby helping people live longer and healthier lives,” said health and fitness icon Shilpa Shetty Kundra.

Customised full body health check-up packages under the SRL Care umbrella consists of packages namely Complete Care for complete body check up, Fitness Care for fitness enthusiasts, Active Care for people with little /no physical activity, Evergreen Care for various age groups, and Vital Care for specific disease or organ system. SRL’s preventive packages are created by our R&D team and medical experts to meet the common needs of individuals, these packages help detect symptoms at an early stage, helping people take correct medical advice and treatment.

Besides the launch of the new SRL Care platform and the brand ambassador, SRL Diagnostics also announced the commencement of a new loyalty program “Club SRL”. Club SRL is a unique membership program that rewards SRL Diagnostics customers with special privileges, reward points and members’ only discounts, all of them with a vision of providing a lifetime of health and savings.

“Our upcoming loyalty program will not just offer reward points but it will also offer preferential benefits to health conscious members who can take certain health and fitness related challenges to earn extra points. We simply want to promote good health through this initiative, what we are trying to tell our customers is ‘improve your health stats and you’ll be rewarded further’” explained Mr Haldar
