Could you tell us on the business / revenue model of Swoo and the kind of audience you target?
Currently, Swoo is looking to disrupt the way social media and broadcasts are at the moment. We would like to focus on social entertainment using different live streaming formats in order to engage the users.
Eventually, we will look to have different monetizing strategies like Social Gifting, E-commerce, Advertisement and Product Placement.
As for audience, we look to provide content to all groups of people, regardless of age, religion, race, gender, and interests.
What is the idea behind Swoo Trivia Show and what are its features and functions?
The Swoo Trivia Show came to be as a one of a kind, fun and light-hearted method of providing information, while connecting with other members of the community, not to mention the chance to gain money by reaching the final question.
Swoo Trivia Show is a celebrity hosted live video streaming game, hosted at a specified pre-defined time with 10 multiple choice questions with 3 options, each testing the IQ level of the participants to answer each question in 10 seconds. We created Swoo Trivia for all Indians, our aim is to engage with influencers to establish a connection with the Indian population – be it students, young working professionals or mothers across different parts of the country and encourage them to use SWOO and participate in the SWOO Trivia Show to earn money.

India possesses a large number of millennials, who are increasingly consuming content on digital platforms, and are assisting in the growth off these platforms. Divyesh Mahajan is also the Chief Technology Officer of Algorythma, the technology arm of Abu Dhabi Financial Group. He was a member of the alternative investments arm of ADFG and has previously worked with ING Management in New York and Hong Kong as part of their Multi-Asset Strategies and Solutions Group. Before that, he spent 3 years at American Express in various positions. Divyesh holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India.
