Mumbai : As per the ratings of Hindi GEC for week 4, All channels Star Plus happened to be the major gainer while Zee TV, Life OK and SAB TV witnessed a decline. while Colors remained unchanged.
According to TAM data for week 5, Star Plus retained its top spot despite decline in its ratings to 616 million GVTs this week compared with 659 in week 4.
Week 5 happened to be a fortunate week for Zee TV as the channel overtook the number 2 position from Colors. The channel saw a significant rise in its viewership surging to 485 million GVTs in week 5 from 408 in week 4. during week 3, ZEE TV had recorded 417 million GVTs.
On the other hand Colors dropped down to No. 3 among Hindi GECs and witnessed its ratings drop to 477 million GVTs week 5 against 485 million GVTs in week 4.
Life OK also bounced up to No. 4 over taking SAB TV as its ratings shot up to 338 million GVTs in week 5 compared with 299 the last week. In week 3, the channel had recorded 316 million GVTs.
SAB TV dropped to number 5 in terms of ratings. The channel’s ratings dipped to 294 million GVTs in week 5 from 305 in week 4.
SET stood at No. 7 despite its ratings increased to 263 million GVTs in week 5 from 238 the last week. In week 4 also the channel witnessed a marginal rise in its ratings, when it increased to 238 million GVTs from 235 in week 3.
Zee Anmol’s ratings slipped marginally to 95 million GVTs this week from 96 in week 4. Star Utsav also witnessed its ratings drop to 74 million GVTs in week 5 compared with 79 in week 4.
Rishtey’s ratings increased to 51 million GVTs this week against 48 in week 4, while Big Magic’s ratings dipped to 42 million GVTs from 49 in week 4.
Sony Pal saw its ratings rise to 29 million GVTs this week compared with 26 a week ago, while Zindagi’s ratings slid further to 18 million GVTs in week 5 from 21 the last week.
Epic saw its ratings shoot up to 8.1 million GVTs this week against 7 in week 4.
Sahara One stood at the bottom of the charts as its ratings dropped further to 8 million GVTs in week 5 from 9 in week 4.
Top 10 Hindi Fiction shows
Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum, Yeh hai Mohabbatein and Saathiya Saath Nibhana were the three most watched shows in the genre with 10674 TVTs, 8595 TVTs and 8557 TVTs, respectively.
At No. 4 is Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya that clocked 8443 TVTs. It is followed by Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai that ended the week with 8147 TVTs.
The sixth spot is occupied by Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka that recorded 7303 TVTs. Next show in the hierarchy is Jamai Raja that closed the weke with 6899 TVTs.
At No. 8 is Sab TV’sTaarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma with 6822 TVTs. At No. 9 is Colors’ Udaan as channel’s other show Meri Ashiqui Tumse Hi recorded 6486 TVTs and settled at the tenth spot.
