Mumbai : As per the ratings of Hindi GEC for week 50 Star Plus, SAB TV and Sony Entertainment Television witnessed a surge in ratings, All others GECs saw a declining numbers.
According to data of week 50 the market topper Star Plus is strengthening its leadership position, as it increased to 661 million GVTs in week 50 from 642 million GVTs in week 49. The channel continued its growth since last week were it increased to 642 million GVTs in week 49 from 625 million GVTs the week earlier.
On the other hand Colors retaining its position at No. 2 saw a drop in its ratings this week to 450 million GVTs from 476 million GVTs in the previous week.
At No. 3, Zee TV too saw its ratings fall this week 398 million GVTs from 419 million GVTs in week 49. The channel continued its decline since last week where it slipped to 419 million GVTs in week 49 from 435 million GVTs in week 48.
Life OK in the fourth spot saw its ratings decline marginally 289 million GVTs in week 50 from 296 million GVTs in week 49. The channel had taken a huge dip in its ratings last week as it slipped to 296 million GVTs in week 49 from 324 million GVTs in week 48.
SAB TV saw its ratings increase rise this week to 288 million GVTs from 281 million GVTs in week 49. Still at the fifth spot the channel saw its ratings decline a week earlier to 281 million GVTs in week 49 from 299 million GVTs in week 48.
SET saw a marginal increase in its ratings to 229 million GVTs in week 50 from 226 million GVTs in week 49. This comes as an improvement from last week where it saw a marginal decline in week 49 to 226 million GVTs from 230 million GVTs in week 48.
Zee Anmol saw its ratings this week increase to 90 million GVTs from 86 million GVTs in week 49. It was followed by Star Utsav which saw a marginal decline in its ratings to 62 million GVTs in week 50 from 63 million GVTs in week 49.
Rishtey saw a big increase in its ratings this week as it rose to 67 million GVTs in week 50 from 58 million GVTs in week 49.
Zindagi saw its ratings marginally increase to 33 million GVTs this week from 31 million GVTs in week 31. Sony Pal on the other hand saw its ratings decline to 31 million GVTs in week 50 from 33 million GVTs in week 49.
Epic channel saw its ratings steadily increasing to 5.68 million GVTs in week 50 to 3.69 million GVTs in week 49.
Big Magic saw its ratings marginally decline to 60 million GVTs from 61 million GVTs in week 49.
Sahara One declined to 8 million GVTs in week 50 from 10 million GVTs in week 49.
