Mumbai: The Colosseum has announced the appointment of Abhishek Bhatia as Assistant Vice President – Marketing & Strategy, marking a significant leadership addition as the organisation strengthens its brand, digital, and growth mandates.
With over a decade of experience across brand building, category development, marketing transformation, customer engagement, and market expansion, Abhishek brings deep expertise in the home fashion and lifestyle sector and a strong track record of driving measurable business impact.
Abhishek joins The Colosseum from Welspun Flooring, where he served as Head of Marketing – Global Business. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in shaping global brand strategy, elevating category positioning, and leading high-impact digital and experiential initiatives. As part of the senior leadership team, he drove cross-functional collaboration, spearheaded successful rebranding programmes, and strengthened market expansion through robust sales-enablement frameworks and digital innovation. His efforts significantly enhanced brand visibility, competitive positioning, and customer experience across global markets.
Before Welspun, Abhishek held key roles at Associated Advertising and Rabbit Digital Branding Solutions, where he worked closely with brands across diverse industries, leading integrated marketing strategies across creative, digital, and brand positioning mandates. These experiences sharpened his ability to translate strategic communication into compelling brand narratives and differentiated market presence.
Earlier in his career, Abhishek gained leadership experience at Robo Silicon, where he led initiatives across branding, employee engagement, customer experience, recruitment branding, internal communication, and go-to-market strategy. He drove digital-first communication models and aligned brand identity across multiple touchpoints nationwide. He also held roles at Cipla, TRIKAAL Advertising, and eYantra, where he built foundational expertise in market activation, brand consulting, and multi-channel marketing.
Across roles, Abhishek has consistently demonstrated the ability to connect brand purpose with business outcomes — modernising brand ecosystems, building scalable marketing engines, and driving strategic roadmaps geared for digital transformation and long-term market growth.
