Twitter has expanded its self-service SMB ads platform from 33 countries to over 200, with the service now available for small and medium sized businesses in Hong Kong, India, Malaysia and the Philippines.
The expansion comes as the social media platform identified Asia Pacific is its fastest growing region.
It cited research from the Asian Development Bank that claimed SMBs account for 98% of all enterprises in Asia.
“Small and medium-sized businesses face the most challenges and are least resourced to promote the good work they do,” Twitter SMB Asia Pacific lead Emily Huo said.
“With the expansion of the Twitter self-service ads platform, we are excited to help SMBs level the playing field with digital advertising.”
