New Delhi: Usha International has renewed its long-standing partnership with five-time champions Mumbai Indians, marking 13 consecutive years of collaboration between the consumer durables brand and the IPL franchise. The association continues to align with Mumbai Indians’ “Play Like Mumbai” philosophy, reflecting the city’s dynamic cricketing culture while reinforcing Usha’s focus on promoting active and healthy lifestyles.
The 2026 cricket season is set to kick off on March 28 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, with Mumbai Indians beginning their campaign on March 29 at the iconic Wankhede Stadium. The team will also travel to cities such as Delhi and Guwahati as part of their away fixtures, expanding fan engagement across key markets.
As part of the renewed partnership, Usha’s logo will feature prominently on the leading side of Mumbai Indians players’ caps and helmets, ensuring strong on-field visibility throughout the season. Additionally, ‘Usha Play’ branding will be integrated across perimeter boards during home matches and on in-stadium digital screens, creating multiple consumer touchpoints during the tournament.
Commenting on the continued association, Komal Mehra, Head – Sports Initiatives & Associations, Usha International, said, “Sports has always been central to how we think about movement, energy, and everyday wellbeing at Usha. Through Usha Play, our focus has been to associate with sports right from indigenous games to highly aspirational sports like cricket, as the spectrum allows us to penetrate across age groups, regions, and socio-economic segments with one simple message – a healthy and active lifestyle for everyone. Our association with Mumbai Indians is especially meaningful in this context. Cricket’s unmatched reach, combined with MI’s culture of discipline, consistency, and performance, helps us take the spirit of play deeper into everyday life and inspire more people to embrace healthier choices. As the excitement of the new season builds, we look forward to continuing this journey with Mumbai Indians and connecting meaningfully with fans through the shared spirit of play.”
A Mumbai Indians spokesperson added, “Our association with Usha International has grown steadily over the years and gone from strength to strength. Their strong focus on encouraging sports, fitness, and healthier lifestyles complements the values that drive our team and the larger cricketing community. As we head into a new season, we look forward to continuing this collaboration and bringing the excitement of the game closer to our fans as always.”
Led by Hardik Pandya, the Mumbai Indians squad features a strong lineup including Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Trent Boult, and Jasprit Bumrah, among others.
