Videocon d2h adds premium Marathi Value-added Service Channel Aapla Manoranjan

Mumbai: Videocon d2h, India’s fastest growing DTH service has expanded its Value-added Service list by launching a new Marathi channel – AaplaManoranjan on Ch No. 756. This ad free service, a GudiPadwa gift for subscribers is brought in partnership with Shemaroo Entertainment Limited. Maharastra is an important market for Videocon d2h with more than 30% of the market share therefore Marathi content is being enhanced further to reap the benefits during the last phase of digitization. This launch underscores the eminence of Maharastra as the key market for Videocon d2h with over 1/5th of subscriber base.

Aapla Manoranjan will showcase the best in Marathi Songs, legendry Plays and 2 Marathi movies every day in addition to a world satellite TV premiere of a newly released movie every Sunday, which hasn’t been telecast on satellite channel like Bus Top, Paisa Paisa & Sugar, Salt aani Prem. The addition of this new Marathi VAS channel on its platform is an indicator of focused approach adopted by Videocon d2h to continue providing relevant content to its regional language subscribers.
