Videocon d2h has roped in Cisco as its technology partner to power its infrastructure and support advanced services like 4K, over-the-top, video-on-demand, multi-screen video and multi-room digital video recorder on a high definition platform. The DTH operator will deploy an advanced video solution, Cisco Videoscape.
Cisco Videoscape helps pay-television operators to deliver and monetise a new generation of video experiences. The solution ensures consistent and immersive video experiences across multiple devices including TVs, tablets, PCs, mobile phones and gaming consoles.
