Chennai: Vijay TV has announced the exciting line up of Pongal special programs and premier movies that will be aired on January 14th and 15th.
As part of the channel’s plans for 14th January, at 8.00 am, the cast and crew of the movie Nimir special, will share their experience and more facts about the movie. The movie has Udhayanidhi Stalin in the lead and is directed by Ace director Priyadharshan. Following this will be the show Azhagiya Oviya- Pongal special at 9.00am where, Bigg Boss fame actress Oviya will be spending her Pongal with her beloved fans.
The channel will premiere the recent blockbuster movie Dheeran Adhigaram Ondru, at 11 am. The Karthi ,Rakul Preeth starrer is an action thriller based on a true story.
As a part of Pongal celebrations, Bigg Boss contestants Snehan, Gayathri, Ganesh Venkatram, Harathi, Vaiyapuri, Harish Kalyan, Anuya and Ganja Karuppu will be celebrating Pongal in a special show at 2.30pm.
Anbudan DD- Thana SernthaKootam special, will be aired at 4.30 pm where the crew will be sharing more facts about the movie. Afterwhich Malayalam superstar Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan will be aired at 5.30 pm.
On January 15th, at 8.30 am, a special debate show moderated by Prof. Suki Sivamon the topic “PazhamaiilamaikuBalama? Balaveenama?” will be telecasted. Followed by Kadhanayagan, a romcom starring Vishnu and Catherine Theresa in the leads at 10.00 am.
Super Jodi – a game show with celebrity couples will be aired at 1.30 pm. Celebrity couples Rio- Sruthi, Amith-Sriranjani, Prajan- Sandra, Anwar-Sameera will be the contestants. Sketch with Vikram, a special show with the movie team will be another special line up for Pongal at 3.30pm.
The channel will telecast at 4.30 pm, Saravanan Meenakshi vs Raja Rani Pongal war, where the television stars of the serials will be participating in a cookery contest.
