Chennai: One of the most popular serials in the history of Sun TV, Krishnadasi is set for a Hindi remake and it is expected to be launched in Viacom 18’s primary Hindi Entertainment Channel Colors as a replacement of Bigg Boss Nau.

South India’s Most happening television producer Kutty Padmini, who is known for her quality and high standard of content making, will be producing the show in association with Mumbai based production house Optimystix.

Krisnadasi was telecasted in Sun TV in the year of 2000. The Original story was a book written by Indrasoundrajan. Television Producer KuttyPadmini had read the book and felt that it had good potential to be made as a Television Show.

She bought the rights and re-adapted it with necessary changes to suite the television format and audience and developed it in to a successful mega Serial . During its telecast the Krishndasi has touched record TRP with a delivery of 28 to 32 TVR on TAM .

The story of Krishnadasi revolves around a Dasi girl’s search to find out her father. In Hindi the story is moulded to adopt a Maharashtraian culture and family that suites the storyline.

The Hindi version of Krishnadasi will be produced by KuttyPadmini’s Vaishnavi Mediaa works limited in association with Optimystix. They both jointly produce the Serial for Colors .

The project took shape when Kuttypadmini met the CEO of Colors Raj Naik and Programming Head Manisha to pitch for a serial. After hearing the conecpt they immediately felt her Tamil version can go well with Maharashtrian back drop and finalised the project immediately.

The Serial in Hindi is directed by Amit Mallik and Ashish Srivatsav, while Screenplay will be done by Manoj Tiwari and Maneesh. Dialogues will be written by Anil Deshmukh and Rekha Babal. The Hindi broad story development and TV adaptation will be overseen by the Producer KuttyPadmini herself and Actor and RJ Sana Amin Sheikh will be playing the lead role.

Sources also confirm that Krishnadasi on Colors will be aired from 25th January 2016 and it is scheduled to be aired on every Monday to Friday @ 10:30 PM.
