Mumbai: Agilitas Sports, an end-to-end sportswear platform, has officially launched the iconic Italian sportswear brand Lotto in India. Backed by bold ambitions and a culture-first strategy, Agilitas aims to build Lotto into a ₹1,000 crore brand within five years, reshaping India’s sportswear and lifestyle landscape.

The brand made its India debut with a humorous and heartfelt launch video featuring cricket stars Yuvraj Singh and Abhishek Sharma, who attempt to speak Italian in a playful nod to Lotto’s legacy. The line “Lotto è un marchio di eredità italiana” (“Lotto is a brand of Italian heritage”) sparks laughs and chemistry between the two, setting the tone for a campaign rooted in authenticity and fun.

Abhishek Ganguly, Co-founder & CEO, Agilitas Sports, said, “This isn’t just a market entry—it’s the start of building a brand fuelled by ambition and strong category dominance. Lotto has global legacy, but we’re shaping it for modern India. The launch content is unfiltered and unscripted because that’s how we plan to build this brand: with authenticity, intrigue and fun.”

A long-time supporter of Agilitas, Yuvraj Singh is both a friend and early investor in the company. Commenting on the launch, he said, “Lotto’s vibe is different—it’s expressive, stylish, and unapologetically fun. That’s what drew me in. As an athlete and entrepreneur, I want to back brands with soul. And this is only the start, with a very exciting YWC x Lotto collab coming soon.”

Abhishek Sharma, who is seen repping the brand’s debut collection, added, “Lotto lets you be yourself—it’s bold, effortless, and doesn’t try too hard. That’s what makes it stand out. I’m thrilled to be part of a brand that blends style and sport so seamlessly. The product looks sharp, feels great, and has a vibe I really connect with. For me, this is more than just a partnership—it’s about repping something I truly believe in.”

Lotto’s Indian journey begins with the launch of Lotto Leggenda, its premium sneaker line inspired by iconic silhouettes from the 1970s to 1990s. Designed in Italy and manufactured in India at Mochiko Shoes—acquired by Agilitas—Leggenda is just the beginning of a broader rollout.

With exclusive rights in India, South Africa, and Australia, Agilitas will scale Lotto across sneakers, sportswear, apparel, and accessories, reinforcing its mission to lead a new era of sportswear culture that blends style, heritage, and global momentum.

The launch signals a new wave in India’s sportswear market—where performance meets personality, and global brands take on a vibrant, local avatar.
