Zee Media has roped in broadcast veteran Joy Chakraborthy as Chief Business Officer, according to media reports.
In his new role, Chakraborthy will be responsible for overseeing the ad, distribution, sales & marketing of the news network.
Previously, he held the role of CEO at Goldmines Telefilms.
In a career span of nearly three decades, Chakraborthy has donned various roles with major media companies namely Times Group, Star TV, TV Today, TV18 Broadcast Ltd, Enterr10 Television Pvt Ltd.
