Hyderabad: Zee Telugu is set to World Television Premiere blockbuster Taxiwaalam, a critically acclaimed sci-fi film, starring Vijay Deverakonda, newcomer Jawalkar.

Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, Taxiwaala presents the audiences with a perfect blend of entertainment, supernatural thrill, and drama. An easygoing graduate moves to a new city in search of a job to support his family, and lands up taking a job of being a taxi-driver. On his hunt for a new car, he stumbles upon a vintage car for sale that has no takers. Building character to his car, he gives his car a makeover, post which all of Vijay’s best moments get tied up to his car. However, his joy is short-lived as he learns his car is possessed. Vijay considers his car his new best friend and sets himself on to a new journey to help his friend.
Cinematographer SujithSarang, and Rahul Sankrityanset the film apart, making it easily one of the best works this year in Telugu cinema throughseveral ways with the depth of its narration, that lacks in most supernatural films.
