Chennai : Star India’s Tamil GEC Vijay TV is known for its high standard of Non-fiction properties among the Tamil audience. Over a period of time, the Channel has established itself as a strong contender in this space with most successful Singing and dancing talent based reality formats.
While, the channel already has a successful dance based format Jodi No. 1, the celebrity reality format that has seen many seasons, it is exploring a new open to all dance reality format by bringing out an all new dance reality show Kings of Dance.
Kings of Dance will be launched on 30th January 2016 airing every Saturday at 8 pm. This is an all new reality show to discover the dancing talents among the masses of all ages.
Kings of Dance on Vijay TV will be a platform for all dance enthusiasts and teams across Tamil Nadu. This show has a very unique concept and places no restrictions of age, the number of participants. There is no hard and fast rule.
The Contestants can come as an individual, duo or as a group as minimum as 3 or as maximum as 30. This is not just it; the contestants are free to follow their own style throughout the show.
Over 1000’s were auditioned through live and CD entries. Out of which over 30 teams are taken to the next level. This show has better and better things to be added to its credits.
\The first round will be the introductory round for the contestants. Later begins the competitive rounds with different themes. Kavin of saravannan meenakshi fame and Priya from kalyanam mudhal kadhal varai have been roped in for hosting the show.
The judge panel includes Choreographer Kalyan master who has been judging Jodi No. 1, which was concluded recently will be judging Kings of dance too and along with him, the National Award winner actor Priyamani will be making her debut in Tamil television screen through Kings of Dance as judge.
Priyamani happens to be judging a similar dance reality show in Malayalam on Mazhavil Manoram titled ‘D3’.
