Gurugram: Cryoviva Life Sciences, a stem cell banking and regenerative medicine company, has appointed Vikas Sharma as its Chief Operating Officer (COO), reinforcing its leadership team as it looks to accelerate strategic growth, expand operations and strengthen its position in the life sciences sector.
Sharma brings over 28 years of experience in commercial leadership and operational management across the healthcare, pharmaceutical and diagnostics industries. During his career, he has held leadership roles at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Lupin, Alembic Pharmaceuticals and Dr. Lal Path Labs. He also served in a CXO role at Life Cell International, where he led specialised business units, launched high-growth verticals and managed multi-market P&L operations.
In his new role, Sharma will oversee Cryoviva India’s operations, lead strategic growth initiatives, drive profitability and enhance operational resilience while focusing on technological innovation and service excellence.
The appointment aligns with Cryoviva’s long-term strategy to expand its footprint in stem cell banking and regenerative medicine by strengthening its laboratory infrastructure, broadening physician partnerships and advancing next-generation cellular therapies.
