Ahmedabad: The Comedy Family – Live at The Arena by TransStadia in Ahmedabad scheduled to take place on 27th May 2017 has been cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances.
The entertaining comedy show with a line-up of the finest comic talent including Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar, Sugandha Mishra, ChandanPrabhakar, SanketBhosle and Roshni Chopra will be back with revised show dates, in a bigger and better way, giving fans a fulfilling experience. Patrons who have confirmed tickets will be refunded the money within 10 days by bookmyshow.
Spokesperson for White River Entertainment said, “The people of Ahmedabad were looking forward to experiencing a laugh riot with the upcoming show – ‘The Comedy Family’ with Sunil Grover and the entire team. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the show has been cancelled. We will ensure that all patrons will be refunded their money in a seamless and expeditious manner. We sincerely regret the inconvenience but we would like to assure the citizens of Ahmedabad that we are committed to bringing the live comedy show to the city of Ahmedabad, and making it a memorable experience for one and all.”
On behalf of The Comedy Family team, Sunil Grover said, “As an artist, I have dedicated myself to entertain people to a one-of-a-kind experience. Performing live for the people of Ahmedabad was a show that I was looking forward to, but due to circumstances beyond my control, we will not be able to perform on the scheduled date as planned. I would like to reassure that The Comedy Family will be back soon”.
It may be noted that the show ran in to legal tangle with another event organising company seeking a stay on the show accusing Comedian Sunil Grover of not obliging his commitment to do a show with his company in Ahmedabad.
