Mumbai: Zee Café is all set bring in best of British stand-up comedy with the launch of yet another new property – Stand-Up Knights. Premiering 23rd December 2017, weekends at 11 pm, the show will bring two internationally acclaimed British stand-up comedy shows – Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow: Series 1 and Live at the Apollo: Series 12.
Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow: Series 1 is a British stand-up comedy television series hosted by McIntyre, the world’s most successful stand-up comedian. He visits UK’s most prestigious and iconic comedy venues, unearthing a raft of comedy’s brightest new talent and finest comedians en route. Each episode features a routine from McIntyre along with few other comedians. Known for his unique and inoffensive humour, the King of comedy is known to leave his audience howling with laughter.
Live at the Apollo is a British stand-up comedy program performed from the Hammersmith Apollo Theatre in west London. The shows are recorded live in front of an audience of more than 3,500 people at the iconic theatre.Considered as one of the most popular and prestigious venues, the theatre has been home to numerous spectacular performances by some of the biggest artists across the globe.
