The World Environment Day, observed on 5th of June every year, is an occasion that makes us realise our responsibility towards the Environment. Today the condition of our Earth and Environment is alarming with rapid exploitation of Natural Resources that results in global warming, rise of CO2 level in environment, debris of mounting plastics and e-wastes etc.. that are posing serious threat to the future of humanity in earth.World Environment day is an occasion that keeps reminding us of the ticking clock that asks us to act immediately.

It is believed that in the last decade, the world has produced more plastic than it has in the whole century. India alone generates 60% of the world’s plastic waste, which has adverse impacts on the health of our oceans, rivers and marine life.  Over the past few weeks, several events and campaigns across the country have highlighted the issue of the irreversible adverse effect of single use-plastics on the environment.

This World Environment Day, brands initiated ad campaigns across medium that actively spoke on reducing and stop using plastic, the brands picked up a theme that served to be the crux of the CSR campaign.
