Mumbai: &Privé HD, the premium destination for nuanced cinema, is all set to premiere the British thriller, Eye in the Sky, On Saturday, 9th of June at 1:00pm and 9:00pm. Directed by Gavin Hood and based on a screenplay by Guy Hibbert, the film explores the ethical challenges of drone warfare.
Colonel Katherine Powell is a British-based military officer in command of a top secret drone operation to capture terrorists in Kenya. Through remote surveillance, and on-ground intel, Powell discovers the targetthat are planning a suicide bombing, and how the mission escalates from “capture” to “kill.” But as American pilot Steve Watts (Aaron Paul) is about to engage with the mission, a nine-year old girl enters the kill zone triggering an international dispute, reaching the highest levels of US and British governments, over the moral, political, and personal implications of modern warfare.
