Chennai: Ambi Parameswaran (aka) Ambi, the Brand Strategist ​with an illustrious career of 40​ y​ear​s​ in advertising​ handling some of India’s top brands, had came up with his latest​ book “SPONGE: Leadership Lessons I Learnt From My Clients” that was published by Westland Publications.

Early in his career, ​Ambi realized that some of the best lessons can be learnt if people just listen to and learn from customer interactions. A challenging customer could actually end up enriching ​one’s life with some of the most engaging conversations ​possible. And if you approached each client conversation as an exercise in listening and learning, it was a sure-fire route to success.

​Ambi was fortunate to work with and engage with some of the most highly respected names in the Indian corporate world and SPONGE is an attempt to present the interesting conversations Ambi had with the doyens​ of the corporate world, in an easy to read anecdotal form. The book is​ an intriguing read for ​Corporate Executives, Management Students​ and​ people interested in​ Advertising​​ where individuals interact with ​a variety​ of people.

His last Book Nawabs, Nudes and Noodles is a bestseller that examines how advertising has evolved, reflecting the country’s culture, politics and economy in the last fifty years.
