Mumbai: K Raheja Group has announced the appointment of Vijayta Nikhil Raheja as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with immediate effect, marking a key leadership transition as the Group strengthens its focus on sustainable growth, operational excellence, and institutional governance.
The appointment reflects the promoters’ confidence in Vijayta Raheja’s leadership, strategic vision, and long-standing contribution to the Group’s evolution. As CEO, she will continue to report to Managing Director Nikhil K. Raheja and will oversee the Group’s strategic direction, business operations, governance, commercial and compliance functions, organisational transformation, and the implementation of best-in-class systems and processes across its businesses.
Raheja’s elevation comes after a 16-year association with the K Raheja Group, including nearly six years as Chief Operating Officer, a role she assumed in 2020. Prior to that, she spent close to a decade as Strategic Advisor to the Group’s hospitality business, contributing to its marketing, brand positioning, and strategic growth initiatives.
Beyond her responsibilities within the Group, she has also advised brands and companies independently across business strategy, marketing, retail activations, and media engagement.
During her tenure as Chief Operating Officer, Raheja played a pivotal role in strengthening corporate governance, institutionalising systems and processes, driving organisational transformation, and leading strategic initiatives across the Group. She also contributed to enhancing the company’s legal framework, risk management capabilities, and institutional approach to business through her strategic oversight of legal, commercial, and governance matters.
In her new role, she will lead the Group’s continued focus on operational excellence, digital transformation, business expansion, institutional governance, and long-term value creation for customers, partners, employees, and stakeholders.
The appointment is aligned with the Group’s long-term vision of strengthening institutional leadership while building upon the Raheja legacy established in 1956.
