HUL remains as top Advertiser while Trivago leads the Brands chart in Week 52

Mumbai : The BARC data released for the week 52 for the period between Saturday, 22nd December 2018 and Friday, 28th December 2018, the Hindustan Lever Ltd continues to lead the list of top advertisers with 122404 insertions while the online travel brand Trivago with 11557  insertions has emerged as the leader of the top 10 brands with most number of insertions in week 52.

Hindustan Lever Ltd stands strong in leading the top 10 advertisers list in week 52 followed by Reckitt Benckiser (India) Ltd that has retained its No.2 position in with 42995 insertions. ITC Ltd has climbed to the 3rd slot against its 8th position in week 51 with 42396 insertions, Ponds India is yet another advertiser that has taken a leap from the 10th rank last week to the 4th slot in week 52 with 33946 insertions. SBS Biotech is seen back with 26175 insertions in the chart this week after a gap, followed by Procter & Gamble that has scored 26175 insertions to occupy the 6th place. Brooke Bond Lipton India Ltd 23570 insertions, Cadburys India Ltd 22456 insertions, Super Cassettes Industries 21389 insertions and Marico Ltd 19170 insertions are the other advertisers in order which are new entrants to the segment in week 52.

The advertisers like Veet, Durex Condoms, Strepsils, Airwick , Harpic that scored in the top 10 advertisers chart in week 51 did not feature in the chart in week 52.

In the top 10 brands with the most number of insertions category, the online travel brand, Trivago has climbed to the leadership position from the 4th place in week 51. Mytra.com and PhonePe stand at the No .2 and No.3 slots respectively with almost the same number of insertions with a difference of just one insertion. Dr. Ortho oil and Mahindra Marazzo with 9591 insertions and 9301 insertions happened occupy the 4th and 5th places in the chart respectively. Roop Mantra with 8915 insertions is the 6th most inserted brand, while Harpic with 8790 insertions and Vaseline with 8756 insertions follow in the respective slots. IBF (Indian Broad Federation) has dropped to the 9th position with 7847 insertions from its position at No . 3 last week. Pet Saffa managed to occupy the 10th place in the chart in the top 10 brands in week 52.
