Kottayam: Manorama Online has launched ‘m kid’ an online newspaper for children. ‘mkid’ consolidates the top 10 news of each week and publishes them in a language that can be easily grasped by kids.
The online newspaper for kids has English and Malayalam versions available on Manorama and Manoramaonline.com respectively and m kid comes out on every Friday.
The m kid was launched in the first week of January. The online content from ‘m kid’ can be downloaded and shared. m Kid is the improvised version of similar product from Manorama online named Tiny Bytes, which is an audible-cum-text offering for young inquisitive minds as well as their parents to stay updated on current affairs and trivia.
The basic concept of m kid is to curate the top 10 news of the week for kids in a language understood by them. The content team of Manorama online reveals that they are receiving constructive feedbacks from parents and young students about this new initiative to improve upon the content which is curated and child safe.
Manoramaonline is also planning for a second version of ‘m kid’ for children above 12 years and the product will be launched soon.
