Mumbai: On the occasion of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s 129th birth anniversary Star Bharat proudly brings to you the story of a social reformer, a leader of the downtrodden and the architect of the constitution of India. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar – Ek Maha Manav Ki Maha Gatha produced by Dashmi Creations narrates the story of a man who dedicated his life to eradicating social inequality in India. The show is scheduled to premiere on April 14th and will air on weekday primetime from Monday to Friday at 8 pm.
During India’s freedom struggle there were leaders who were a part of the revolutionary movement and there was Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar who was a revolution by himself. He changed the face of Indian society by providing a platform to the Dalit & socially downtrodden communities. He also designed the Constitution of our nation that shaped the democratic values of our country. From being a jurist, economist, politician, social reformer who inspired the Dalit movement and campaigned against the social discrimination prevalent in Indian Society.
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar – Ek Maha Manav Ki Maha Gatha is an adept of the Marathi show aired on Star Pravah. It promises to keep the viewers intact with its robust content. It highlights the issues of untouchability and casteism that was prevailed over the years. This story is not only about a man whose life is irrevocably altered by a single event but also about the effects of a system that thrives in oppression.
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar who represented the Dalit community highlighted the point stating that ‘The riches can isolate and can snatch our freedom, money, respect, etc but not Education.’ Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar thus is not just a leader figure but a Godly figure for many.
