YouTube tops OTTs with 383 mn unique views and 288 bn minutes of watching: Comscore

The over-the-top (OTT) landscape in 2020 is rapidly changing due to the growth of OTT services, content which each platform is providing. Amidst this evolving landscape, Comscore (Nasdaq: SCOR), a trusted partner for planning, transacting and evaluating media across platforms has released its 2020 ‘Top OTTs in India’ report.

According to the report YouTube is the Top most OTT platform in India. It has 383 mn unique visitor this year and total 288 billion minutes spend on it. Youtubers like Prajakta Koli, Ashish chanchalani, Bhuvan bam, superwomen be you nick, some gaming youtubers like Dynamo, Alpha Clasher and many more has entertained the audience throughout the whole lockdown.

The 2nd place is taken by Hotstar with the unique visitors of 145 million and total 32 billion minutes spend on it. Hotstar this year had some amazing content like special ops, criminal justice, Aarya and many more.  MX player came on 3rd place with the unique visitor of 145 million and 22 billion total minute spend. Followed by Prime video with 57 million visitors, Netflix by 32 million visitor and ZEE5 by 27 million unique visitors.
