Two campaigns from Nepal recognised at the One Show Asia Showcase 2020

The first time Nepalese advertising campaign got selected in The One Show Asia. This year One Show Asia Showcase 2020, where the best work from the Asia Pacific got showcased to the world to see two campaigns from Nepal-  #Basichumanity and #TogetherAhead.

These two were chosen from more than 2,600 submissions from 59 cities in 17 countries from the Asia Pacific region. Submissions were curated by a diverse group of 62 influential creative leaders from 29 countries and regions around the world who upheld The One Show’s long-standing high standards for creative excellence in two rounds of reviews. These works represent the year’s best from the Asia Pacific creative industry.

They made their selection with integrity and international standards while using local cultural insights.

The president of Advertising Association of Nepal (AAN), Som Prasad Dhital said, “I am immensely happy to see Nepal shining at One Show Asia, we should keep these spirits of creating hallmarks, so our industry becomes as par to other leading ad fraternity of the world.”

Anil Shah, the CEO of Nabil Bank was instrumental in the #TogetherAhead campaign. Shah added his remarks, “Truly amazing, congratulations to the entire Team. I am humbled to be part of this journey of making Nepal proud and showcasing our creative talents, in the highest international forum.” #TogetherAhead campaign was done for Nabil Bank through which a very important message was delivered.

Rabindra Kumar Rijal, the immediate past president of Advertising Association of Nepal also spoke encouragingly, “Congratulations to the team, I believe these accolades will not only create a space for Nepalese advertising globally but at home, it will also work as a catalyst for both clients and agencies to try new ideas and innovative campaigns.”

Outreach Nepal has been consistently working towards enhancing the image of Nepalese advertising both in Nepal and abroad. The #Basichumanity campaign was one of the most successful campaigns which were created during the Covid time. The campaign got adopted in six countries in eight languages and also bagged ECI awards in Shanghai in December 2020. #TogetherAhead was created by CREOCommunications for Nabil Bank to give a message of solidarity during the Covid times.
