Tokyo: Hakuhodo Inc., the Tokyo-headquartered integrated marketing and innovation company, has acquired a majority stake in Mumbai-based independent integrated digital agency Auburn Digital Solutions through its wholly owned subsidiary AdGlobal360 India Private Limited (AGL).

The acquisition marks a significant step in Hakuhodo Group’s global digital growth strategy, enhancing its technology-enabled and data-driven marketing capabilities in India while expanding its presence across other high-growth international markets.

Founded in 2013, Auburn Digital Solutions has established itself as a leading independent digital marketing company in India, offering integrated services spanning performance marketing, digital media operations, SEO, social media marketing, creative production, and technology solutions. The agency serves clients across India, the UAE, and Singapore.

Hakuhodo said the partnership combines its global marketing expertise and Sei-katsu-sha Centric Mindset (people-first approach), AdGlobal360’s digital transformation capabilities, and Auburn’s regional digital strengths to deliver comprehensive, technology-driven marketing and business solutions across the three markets.

The move comes as India continues to emerge as one of the world’s fastest-growing digital economies, driven by rapid technology adoption, evolving consumer behaviour, and increasing investments in digital transformation.

Headquartered in Mumbai, Auburn Digital Solutions employs approximately 300 people and has operations across India, the UAE, and Singapore. The company provides end-to-end digital marketing services, including performance marketing, media operations, search engine optimisation, social media marketing, creative production, and technology solutions.

With the acquisition, Hakuhodo Group aims to further strengthen its digital marketing footprint in India while leveraging Auburn’s regional expertise to accelerate innovation and deliver enhanced value to clients navigating an increasingly technology-driven marketing landscape.
