Over 35 brands on-board R Bangla ahead of launch

Mumbai: Republic Media Network’s new upcoming channel, R Bangla, gets more than 35 brands onboard even before it goes on-air.

Well-renowned advertisers have shown their confidence in the channel, with diverse and esteemed brands namely Berger Paints, Rupa & Co. Ltd., SRMB Steel, Sanjiban Hospital, Cookme, Aquaguard, Anmol Industries, Senco Gold, Joy Personal Care, Wow! Momo, Parul University, Dr. Ortho, Panasonic, Gas-O-Fast coming onboard as the founding partners of Republic Bangla – the third channel being launched by Republic Media Network within 4 years since the launch of Republic TV.

As the launch is underway, partners such as Shikhar Pan Masala, CenturyPly, DS Group, Nissan, Nuvoco Double Bull Cement, Lux Cozi, BYJU’S, Bakson’s Homeopathy, Fogg, Radico Khaitan, CarDekho, Hamdard, Emami & Co. Ltd., McNROE have signed up and come onboard for tactical campaigns on Republic Bangla.‘Jawab Chay Bangla’ – the networks Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief’s soon-to-be launched prime time show – has sold out with 5 sponsors namely Cookme, Captain TMT, Utsav Rice, Anmol Industries, Sanjiban Hospital, thus showing the concrete belief of advertisers in the brand that is Arnab Goswami.

On the upcoming launch of the channel, Satyajit Saha, Owner, Ad Merchant India Pvt. Ltd said, “We are happy to be associated with R Bangla. We have full faith and confidence in Arnab Goswami and his brand. Market is looking forward to the launch. Wishing good luck and success to R. Bangla.”

Krishnendu Sarkar, Director, Canvas Publicity said, “I believe in the brand Republic and I am happy to be associated with R. Bangla. I wish the channel all the best.”

R Bangla’s tagline ‘Kotha Hobey Chokhe Chokh Rekhe’ has become a viral catchphrase amongst Bengali speakers. What started as an on-air campaign on the Network’s English and Hindi channels, which are leaders in their respective genres already, has transformed into a viral and domino effect with icons, viewers across Bengal’s districts and Bengali speakers across the world sharing their videos using the R. Bangla slogan. From Melbourne to Cooch Behar, from Sourav Ganguly to Baba Ramdev– the roar of ‘Kotha Hobey Chokhe Chokh Rekhe’ has become a fervent and unmissable chant.
