Mumbai: Zee TV has officially launched the audition journey for the new season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, unveiling the first promo of the iconic singing reality show and opening registrations for aspiring singers across the country.
Marking the start of a nationwide hunt for India’s next singing superstar, the channel announced the first phase of auditions across key cities, with auditions scheduled in Varanasi on 3rd July, Lucknow on 4th July, and Delhi on 5th July. Additional city auditions will be announced in the coming weeks.
The newly launched promo captures the essence of India’s musical and cultural heritage through a heartwarming family celebration welcoming a newborn. Set against the soulful notes of a Sohar — a traditional folk song from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar associated with childbirth and new beginnings — the campaign reflects the show’s continued focus on authentic music and emotional storytelling.
Returning with an enhanced production scale, the upcoming season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa promises an elevated musical experience featuring a grand stage design and performances supported by more than 100 live musicians, singers and instrumentalists.
For more than three decades, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has served as a platform for discovering and nurturing some of India’s most celebrated singing talents, including Shreya Ghoshal, Kunal Ganjawala and Monali Thakur, among others. The new season aims to continue that legacy while celebrating individuality, originality and musical excellence.
