Pramod Raman, the former Senior Co-ordinating Editor of Manorama News, has been named the Editor of MediaOne News Channel.
Pramod has more than two decades of experience in television journalism and is known for his unique news presentation style. He is credited with anchoring the first news bulletin of Kerala’s first private television channel Asianet on September 30, 1995.
Pramod began his career as a journalist in 1990 with Deshabhimani and Sadbandhu newspapers.
After working with Asianet News for nearly a decade, Pramod moved to now-defunct news channel India vision, the first 24-hour news channel in Malayalam, as Editor.
In 2006, Pramod joined Manorama News, where he hosted many well-known shows. Pramod has also published two collections of short stories
He will be taking charge as the Editor of MediaOne on July 1. MediaOne TV is operated by Madhyamam Broadcasting Limited.
