Mumbai: Consumer tech platform flutrr has announced a leadership reshuffle, appointing Co-founder Anirban Banerjee as its Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) while promoting Ankit Santra to the role of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), as the company prepares for its next phase of growth.
Banerjee, who previously served as the company’s CMO, shared the development in a LinkedIn post, describing the move as part of a broader organisational transformation.
“Really stoked to share that I am stepping into a new set of shoes as the Interim CEO of fluttr,” he wrote, adding that the company is restructuring its teams for greater speed and agility, accelerating product innovation, and executing a reimagined vision for the business.
He also said the leadership transition reflects the company’s ambitions to build its next phase of growth alongside CEO Kaushik Banerjee, calling it “our most ambitious yet.”
Banerjee has been associated with fluttr since January 2022. Before joining the company, he held roles at MeVero and Viacom18.
Coinciding with Banerjee’s elevation, flutrr has promoted Ankit Santra from Creative Head to Chief Marketing Officer.
In his new role, Santra will lead the company’s end-to-end marketing, brand and creative strategy, overseeing brand building, advertising, product marketing, design and revenue growth. He will also spearhead initiatives aimed at strengthening user acquisition, engagement, monetisation and brand equity while aligning marketing efforts with the company’s broader business objectives.
Announcing the promotion, flutrr said Santra has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s brand identity and creative direction.
“Ankit has been instrumental in shaping fluttr’s identity, building a distinctive brand, driving creative excellence, and bringing bold ideas to life. His vision and leadership have played a key role in defining who we are today,” the company said in its LinkedIn announcement.
The twin appointments underscore flutrr’s focus on strengthening its leadership bench, with Banerjee taking charge of the company’s strategic direction as Interim CEO and Santra assuming responsibility for driving its marketing vision and brand-led growth.
