Share Share ShareShare

Noida: Commencing celebrations for India’s 75thyear of Independence, ABP Network has launched special programming initiatives on its national and regional news channels – ABP News, ABP Majha, and ABP Ananda. With its distinctive content offerings, the network will be commemorating the nation’s diversity, history, beauty, and patriotic spirit this year.

For Independence Day festivities, ABP Network has launched special programming efforts on its national and regional news channels – ABP News, ABP Majha, and ABP Ananda.

The national news channel, ABP News is coming up with a special show called ‘Bharat Ka Yug’.  Hosted by renowned Indian lyricist, Manoj Muntashir, this show will not only showcase development, governance, technology, reform, progress, and policy over the years but also discuss what the future holds for our nation. It will ask pertinent questions like what India has achieved since 75 years of independence, what it can learn from other countries performing well in different domains, how it can improve & be the best at everything, and so on.

Bharat KaYug will air starting this Saturday on ABP News at 9:00 PM with repeat telecasts on Sunday morning at 9 AM.

ABP Network’s Bengali news channel, ABP Ananda, on the other hand, has introduced a new show called ‘Bharat Katha’. Hosted by the renowned anchor, Mr. Suman De, this history-based show explores the unexplored and unheard tales of India’s post-independence period. With this show, ABP Ananda aims to provide comprehensive information to the viewers about our nation’s history in their own language.

India has developed into what it is today over 7 decades post-independence. There are thousands of unknown plotlines, contributions, and sacrifices of countless people both known and unknown, behind the growth of the world’s largest democracy. This history-based show will, therefore, enlighten the viewers about the valor and courage of some lesser-known freedom fighters and unsung heroes, and explore some unknown sacrifices and contributions of certain people in developing the nation since 1947. The stories on the show will dig into all aspects, whether political, social, or economic while recounting history – in order to provide a detailed account to the viewers.

The series ‘Bharat Katha’ premiered on ABP Ananda on July 31, 2021, and airs every Saturday at 8:00 PM.

As a part of Independence Day special programming, ABP Majha has also come up with myriad shows and programming initiatives. The Marathi news channel will telecast the flag hoisting ceremony at Red Fort followed by Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s speech as a part of its programming.

Furthermore, another special show called’75 big moments of Indian Democracy’will be telecast on the news channel. Finally, ABP Majha will beam a musical show wherein famous contestants of Indian Idols will be performing.

With these distinctive offerings on ABP News, ABP Ananda, and ABP Majha – ABP Network has successfully spruced up its content portfolio for Independence Day.
