The Covid pandemic has changed the way we look and perceive things. The world was united against fighting the pandemic, even during the period where new variants of the pandemic are creating fear among the people across the globe, we were able to control and bring down the deaths due to pandemic by the collective efforts of the government, public, doctors, health workers, and many others. There are a lot of unsung heroes who have risked their lives and emerged as winners in their fight against the pandemic.
In this scenario, Asianet News- the leading news channel from Kerala is saluting the unsung heroes behind the fight against pandemic through Salute Kerala Awards. The nominations for the awards were invited from the corporate sector, SMEs, and the general public. The shortlisted entries were evaluated by an independent jury.
Speaking on Salute Keralam awards, Unnikrishnan BK, VP- Sales, Asianet News said, “We want to recognize the unsung heroes or saviours who have showcased exemplary services during the pandemic period. We have to recognize those warriors who fought against the global pandemic putting their life at stake.”
The Salute Kerala Awards will be held on December 21 at Grand Hyatt, Kochi.
