Mumbai: Lalitham Sundaram, directed by Madhu Warrier, starring Biju Menon and Manju Warrier will start streaming on Disney + Hotstar from March 18. The movie will have a story about the importance of family relationships and will be accompanied by humorous moments. The trailer of the film was released on 7 March. The movie has an impressive cast including Anu Mohan, Saiju Kurup, Deepti Sati, Zarina Wahab, Raghunath Paleri. Manju Warrier’s production house, Manju Warrier Productions is producing this family entertainer in association with Century Films, one of the renowned film banners.
The movie that marks the directorial debut of Manju’s brother Madhu Warrier is backed by excellent technicians too. Pramod Mohan has scripted the film and Lijo Paul is the editor. The cinematography is done by P Sukumar and Gautham Shankar and music by BijiBal. The movie with the help of humour features the troublesome life of a family.
Biju Menon shared his excitement to be a part of a family entertainer like Lalitham Sundaram after Ayyappanum Koshiyum & Aarkariyam. He also said it’s the concept and the presentation style were the factors that convinced him to be a part of this movie. Manju Warrier was very much excited to work with Biju Menon after a gap of 20 years after their first movie. She also shared her excitement about producing this movie with Century Films, which has produced over 100 films in Malayalam. About the story of the movie, Madhu Warrier said it’s just like the name of the movie Lalitham Sundaram meaning simple and beautiful. He also added, his debut film being a movie that embraces the strong family bonds gave him confidence.
