Veteran journalist, Rajesh Mahapatra will join Press Trust of India as Editor, as per media reports.
In a career span of more than 25 years, Mahapatra has worked on various roles as a business journalist, political analyst, public policy expert, newsroom leader, and editor.
Mahapatra is the founder of Forum for Odisha Dialogues. Earlier, he worked with Hindustan Times for over 10 years in various roles. As Chief Content Officer at HT, he played a key role in the transformation of the company into a digital-first news organisation. He also wrote a weekly Sunday column — Deep Cut – in Hindustan Times, focused mostly on the intersections of India’s politics and economy.
