Mumbai: Bhushan Bagkar has joined WPP Media as Vice President – Strategy . He previously worked for Madison World as General Manager.
Bagkar announced the development through a LinkedIn post, sharing his enthusiasm about taking on the new role and collaborating with the WPP Media team.
“It’s been a month since I’ve joined WPP Media as Vice President – Strategy! Thrilled to team up with an incredible group of people to tackle complex challenges, shape high-impact brand strategies, and drive meaningful growth,” he wrote.
With an extensive background in media strategy and brand planning, Bagkar brings experience from leading organisations across the advertising and media industry. Before joining WPP Media, he held key roles at Madison World, Wavemaker, and Prachar Communications Ltd., where he worked across strategic planning, media, and integrated communications.
In his new role, Bagkar is expected to work closely with clients and internal teams to develop strategic marketing solutions, drive brand growth, and help businesses navigate an evolving media and consumer landscape through data-driven and insight-led strategies.
