BARC Week 34: Sun TV regains the top spot in across genre category

BARC Week 49: Colors Marathi soars to No. 2 position in Marathi GEC market

In Week 34 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India Data Report, Sun TV regained its top spot with 2339.22 (000) AMA in the across genre category compared to last week. Star Maa retained its 2nd spot with 2268.93 (000) AMA. Star Plus moved one spot up and claimed the 3rd position with 2184.8 (000) AMA. Goldmines dropped from first spot to 4th spot with 2100.79 (000) AMA. Dangal retained its 5th spot with 1870.14 (000) AMA followed by Sony Sab at 6th spot with 1640.66 (000) AMA. Star Pravah moved one spot up and claimed the 7th position with 1609.75 (000) AMA followed by Colors at 8th position with 1594.88 (000) AMA. Zee Telugu entered the chart with 1486.35 (000) AMA and claimed the 9th spot. Star Vijay dropped from 7th spot to 10th spot with 1474.76 (000) AMA. 

Hindi Speaking Market

In the Hindi speaking market, Star Plus bagged the top spot with 2112.24 (000) AMA. Goldmines slipped one spot down and stood at 2nd position with 2074.51 (000) AMA. Dangal retained its 3rd spot with 1862.07 (000) AMA followed by Sony Sab at 4th spot with 1592.74 (000) AMA and Star Pravah at 5th spot with 1584.93 (000) AMA. 

Punjabi (Punjab/Chandigarh)

Among the Punjabi speaking market, PTC Punjabi continued its lead with 233.76 (000) AMA followed by Zee Punjabi with 167.71 (000) AMA at 2nd spot. 

Star Plus took a leap from 5th spot to 3rd spot with 122.8 (000) AMA. Colors retained its 4th spot with 119.79 (000) AMA. Goldmines dropped from 3rd spot to 5th spot with 119.76 (000) AMA. 

Marathi (Maharashtra/Goa)

In the Marathi speaking market, Star Pravah continued its lead with 1568.57 (000) AMA followed by Zee Marathi with 538.99 (000) AMA at 2nd spot. Colors Marathi moved one spot up and claimed the 3rd position with 430.36 (000) AMA followed by Sony Sab at 4th position with 419.22 (000) AMA. Goldmines dropped from 3rd spot to 5th spot with 346.87 (000) AMA.
