Chennai: News18 Tamilnadu, Leading Tamil news and current affairs channel owned by Network18, has appointed senior journalist Karthigaichelvan S as its Editor.
Karthigaichelvan is a well-known senior journalist in Tamil News and Current Affairs space with over 25 years of experience in Print, Visual and Digital News media.
He joined the organisation last week and officially took charge of the roles effective from today (12th September 2022). He will be reporting to Vivek Narayan, Managing Editor – South, who leads the editorial affairs of all the News18 South channels.
Prior to this Karthigaichelvan was associated with Puthiyathalaimurai TV as Editor-in-chief for the past seven years. He was also associated with Times of India – Chennai Edition as Asst Editor from March 2011 to July 2015.

Karthigaichelvan is expected to add new life to News18 Tamilnadu by hosting some of the prime time shows.
