BARC WK 3: CNN-News18 continues to lead English news genre with 42.7pc market share

As per the latest BARC data, CNN-News18 has outperformed its competitors in the English new genre with a market share of 42.7pc (BARC; market sharepc 24 hrs, TG: 2+, India, Wk 03’23, All days).

According to the latest BARC data, the market share of Republic TV stood at 23.4pc, whereas the market share of Times Now is at 18.3pc, Mirror Now stood at 11.1pc and India Today TV at 4.4pc respectively.

CNN-News18 also continued its dominance in prime time.

As per the BARC ratings (BARC; market sharepc 1800- 2300 hrs, TG: 2+, India, Wk 03’23, All days) CNN-News18 is 123pc ahead of Times Now, where it secured 39.1pc market share, followed by Republic TV and Times Now with 26.8pc and 17.5pc market share respectively.
