CavinKare and Ability Foundation have announced that the 22nd edition of their property to recognise achievers with disabilities for their perseverance, the CavinKare Ability Awards 2024, is now accepting nominations.
The last date for nominations is Monday, November 20, 2023. Online nomination forms are at www.abilityfoundation.org and www.cavinkare.com.
Among categories are CavinKare Ability Award for Eminence, and CavinKare Ability Mastery Awards. Instituted in 2003, the awards have honoured 91 achievers with disabilities who have scaled conventional barriers to realise chosen dreams.
Winners are presented with prize money, a trophy, and a citation in recognition of their achievements.
An individual may be nominated in only one category. Indian nationals with disability (Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016) with exceptional work in his/her chosen field are eligible to apply. The nominations go through a process of short-listing, interviews and site visits before winners are selected by a jury.
