MullenLowe Lintas Group India has become part of the 2023 Index of ‘100 Best Companies for Women in India’ curated annually by Avtar and Seramount.

Avtar is an Indian DEI solutions firm. Seramount is a professional services and research firm for high-performing, inclusive workplaces in the United States,.

MullenLowe Lintas Group is the only advertising agency from India in the list that includes the likes of Bayer, Aditya Birla Group, HP, Mondelez and P&G.

Sony Pictures Networks, which is also placed in ‘100 Best – Hall of Fame’ for featuring in the ‘100 Best Companies for Women in India’ for five years, is the only media company on the list.

The Index reads: “Sony Pictures Networks India channels their commitment to women’s development and career enablement through various policies and benefits. These include gender-agnostic hiring, internal career opportunities and talent review, which have resulted in 44 pc of internal job rotations by women and 27 pc of their high-potential talent comprising women.”

This is the eighth successive edition of the Best Companies for Women in India (BCWI) study. The application form with close to 300 questions, required companies to provide data on their practices, programmes and policies to ensure gender inclusion at their workplaces.

Media and Advertising companies on the Index

The industry-wise share of the 100 companies on the index shows that only two of them are from ‘Media, Internet and Advertising’.

Digital business transformation company Publicis Sapience is part of the list, as are consulting firms Accenture, EY, KPMG and PWC.
