Ajay Rao joins Outlook Publishing as Vice President – South and National Head – Growth Vertical

Outlook Publishing (India) Pvt. Ltd has roped in Ajay Rao as new Vice President (South) and National Head – Growth Vertical. 

Updating the new position on his LinkedIn handle, Rao wrote, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Vice President (South) and National Head – Growth Vertical at Outlook Publishing (India) Pvt. Ltd.”  

Ajay Rao brings with him 25 years of professional experience that majorly covers Media Industry. He has considerable expertise in the Quality and Systems Certification space. Apart from this, Rao is a skilled professional with eons of holistic experience in the fields including Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Communications and Public Relations. 

Before joining Outlook Publishing, Rao played a role as Associate Vice President & Head – South at HT Media Ltd. He was also positioned as Regional Business Director at Reliance Broadcast Network. Prior to this, Rao was associated with Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd where he played illustrious roles including Deputy Manager, Manager and General Manager. Rao was also worked as Chief Manager (Response) and Deputy General Manager (Response) at The Times of India between 2011 and 2018. 

Rao graduated Master of Arts in Business/Managerial Economics from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics. Rao did Executive Programme and Organizational Leadership from Indian School of Business.
