Bengaluru : Star India’s Kannada General Entertainment Channel Suvarna announces the launch of its new fiction show titled ”Anuroopa” from December 29th 2014.
The story of Anuroopa revolves around – Meghana, She has the simplicity of a small town girl, but she is naughty, stubborn and short tempered. She adores her friends and will go to any extent to help anyone in need. Her closest aid is Shyam, her childhood friend and confidant. A happy go lucky boy, who is very jovial and is the spark of any group.
Tejasvi is a simple and smart man. He believes in the idea that its ‘one life, make it worthwhile’. He loves life and accepts everything as it comes. How the lives of Meghana and Tejasvi collide and form a complex relationship with various obstacles is the crux of the story.
The storyline reveals the common strategy of all Kannada GECs vying to attract youngsters along with the family audience in-order to arrest falling viewership of young audience towards fiction soaps.
Anuroopa is directed and produced by V.Madhusudhan, he is also the producer/director of the existing show on Suvarna “Milana”.
The new fiction show will be launched on 29th December 2014, scheduled for telecast on every Monday to Saturday @ 07:30pm.
Suvarna is desperately trying to bounce back as the channel dropped down to third position among Kannada GECs losing its numero-uno position to Udaya TV and second position to ETV Kannada.
