Mumbai: The World Out of Home Organization (WOO) has announced the launch of an immediate search for a new Chief Executive Officer to lead the day-to-day operations of the global industry body, marking a significant leadership transition as the organisation enters its next phase of growth.
The announcement was made by WOO President Tom Goddard during his opening address at the Annual Congress held at the Park Lane Hilton in London. In the same address, Goddard highlighted the continued strength of the global Out of Home (OOH) industry, which now stands at global revenues of US$54 billion.
The appointment of a new CEO is intended to enable Goddard to move into a more ambassadorial role, allowing him to dedicate greater focus to member engagement and external advocacy. The shift comes at a time when WOO is expanding its work across key industry priorities including effectiveness, audience measurement and adtech connectivity.
The search process is being coordinated by Jeremy Male, Chair of the WOO Nominations Committee. Delegates and interested stakeholders have been invited to direct questions, recommendations and expressions of interest directly to Male or through members of the WOO Board.
The leadership transition reflects WOO’s intent to strengthen operational focus while continuing to support industry collaboration and innovation across the global Out of Home ecosystem.
Commenting on the announcement, Tom Goddard said, “We are confident this change will ensure that our marvellous Organization will continue to flourish and grow.”
With the global OOH sector continuing to evolve alongside advancements in data, technology and measurement capabilities, the leadership appointment is expected to play an important role in shaping WOO’s next chapter of growth and industry engagement.
