Hyderabad: aha Studio and Applause Entertainment had earlier announced collaboration for ‘Half Lion’, a bilingual biopic series chronicling the life of the late Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao.
Based on the acclaimed book ‘Half Lion’ authored by Vinay Sitapati, the series will be directed by National award-winning filmmaker Prakash Jha. Currently in the pre-production phase, this premium Multi Language Pan-Indian series is set to be released in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil languages.
This recognition adds to the significance of their earlier announcement, highlighting the importance of preserving his remarkable journey.
Former Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao has been honoured with the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award, in recognition of his pivotal role in transforming India’s economy. This accolade honours his significant contributions during his tenure from 1991 to 1996.
