Elite Runner Jimmy Gressier signs partnership with DECATHLON KIPRUN

Valencia: DECATHLON KIPRUN, the specialist running brand of DECATHLON, has announced a landmark partnership with European distance running star Jimmy Gressier. This collaboration, commencing in 2025, is set to continue through the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, with an option for extension beyond this period. DECATHLON KIPRUN will serve as Gressier’s official partner, equipping him with state-of-the-art running gear for his competitive pursuits.

Jimmy Gressier, born in Boulogne-Sur-Mer in the Hauts-de-France region, has made waves in the international running scene, holding national records in the 5000m and 10,000m and the European record in the road 5km with a time of 13:12. A multiple French champion in the 5000m (2020, 2023) and 10km road race (2022), Gressier has consistently excelled on European podiums, particularly in cross country, where he secured three U23 titles (2017–2019) and a Senior silver medal in 2021.

Speaking on the partnership, Jimmy Gressier shared: “Deeply connected to my roots in Northern France, I was immediately drawn to the authenticity and trust that DECATHLON KIPRUN exuded from our very first conversations. Partnering with the running brand of DECATHLON offers me the opportunity to contribute to the development of new products, while building a shared journey based on common values and a mutual pursuit of success on the international stage. It’s a heartfelt decision and the beginning of an exciting and enriching adventure.”

With DECATHLON KIPRUN’s backing, Gressier is poised to shine at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics while pursuing ambitious goals for the 2025 season. Key upcoming events include the John Terrier Classic 5000m in Boston on February 1, 2025, and the 2-mile race at the 117th Millrose Games in New York on February 8, 2025.
